Texture of a landscape: a Micro-expedition: Part II/ Old forest Winter

The drawing project continues. I am continuing my walking process in the old forest in Nordmarka, Norway. Julia Hyde is continuing her drawing in the landscape in Belgium. Drawing together almost daily, but apart, gives us a source of inspiration to see how the dialogue between our work develops over time. My processs continues and I am now both walking and skiing in the old forest in Oslo, Norway. A stillness is present and the snow covered trees stand together warming each other as the temperatures may drop, to - 20 in January . The snow lightens the landscape into poetry where imagination can exist side by side . The trees stand together through harsh weather, maintaining an inner balance, like a fence they stand strong together facing it all.
